I’m actually amazed that these little guys survived this round. Though I suspect luck is running out for them…

comandantedavid…That said this above piece doesn’t even have reality on its side as far as a Sauropod Dinosaur indsie a glowworm cave. There is absolutely no fossil evidence what’s so ever Sauropods went into caves, that alone ones dark and deep enough to support a large glow worm population. When I say reality they’ve taken some very unrelated “real” facts about modern animals and claimed they apply to Dinosaurs without a shred of evidence Dinosaurs actually did any of it.That is fantasy. It is just trying to have a real flavour as it were. That isn’t science. Which where I’m having the issue.Though for the full discussion you need to click on the link.

Key word: “Try.” ;PAnd, Nima, congratulations on getting your “Brachiosaur Parade” published, man! I’m impressed! That simple gesture lets me know the magazine’s publishers have great tastes in Art! :)

“Help! We’re playing games on a road trip. I need the name of an anmial that starts with X!”Turns out this was the day I found out about Xenoposeidon. Had a whole extended conversation in lab about it. I couldn’t make this up if I tried. So I did the only thing I could do. I texted back: “Xenoposeidon, a new dinosaur.” (Sorry, auto-complete didn’t recognize the name … yet.)I got a text back: “You fuckin’ rock!!”I felt good about that, but having searched my entire phonebook and looked up the area code online, I couldn’t for the life of me figure out who the texter could be. My one friend with that area code would never use the word fuckin’, and my brother (with a penchant for both profanity and alphabetical road trip games) had no business with an Atlanta phone number. Plus he has denied the incident twice, and he’s not a good liar on things like this.Turns out my Atlanta friend has diversified his vocabulary - by at least two words.

Madonna over nancy grace?!?Nancy grace is a venomous witch with a sickening rape/murder fetish.Your complaint about Madonna is that when she improves the life of a poor child it may be more about publicity than compassion? oh, and her religion is harmlessly kooky?I think we have a different definition of douchebaggery.

but I don’t think I “do more”.An understatement for sure. Maybe I’m just not a good time meaagnr, but I can’t imagine finding time to do extensive travel, write 3+ books, speak at an untold number of conferences, manage a high traffic website, and still find time for other “personal” or family time. My hat is off to you sir.On a personal front, I have 3 young girls (5, 2, and new born) and with that (understandably) a demanding wife, not to mention a personal life outside of all of that. After getting the girls down for the night (around 8) , I’m simply dead tired, but as a homeowner I have stuff to fix, the lawn to mow, landscaping, cars to maintain…you get the idea. To even consider writing a book or going to school on top of that would put me in the nuthouse, literally.Tom - I really do envy the amount of work you accomplish - don’t sell yourself short.
