I very much like your site, and check in on it at least once a week. However.
Your humor seems to be a one trick pony. Bite their head off. Now, this is kinda cute the first couple thousand times, but eventually it gets a bit old.
Now, I’m no comic, and don’t really have an intelligent suggestion, but do wish you could or would come up with at least ONE more trick. Preferably jillions. Zillions.
Please be not offended: I am trying to give you some constructive criticism, as I honestly do appreciate your site, the information you give, and the links you provide, concerning what I consider a fascinating subject: Dinosaur Paleontology.
But, you need another trick. BTW: I realize Parry is dead, but perhaps he had a cousin? Another permanent or semi-permanent character might help. How about, oh, I dunno, Spinosaurus? Ankylosaurus. Somebody.

Hey, Carnita’s semi-permanent. (And I was originally going to kill her off after a few strips. She seems to have stuck around, though.)
Constructive criticism is fine. But some of the greatest strip ever created are one-trick ponies. Krazy Kat almost always ends with Ignatz beaning Krazy with a brick (and often getting arrested for it by Offissa Pupp), and Little Nemo in Slumberland always ends with Nemo waking up from a dream by falling out of bed. So it can work.
There is a major difference though (besides the fact that I’m no Winsor McKay or George Herriman, that is). Krazy Kat and Little Nemo were gigantic strips that took up an entire page, which allowed for more variation in how you got to the (inevitable) end. I have at times thought of expanding the format here (a luxury available to web comics but sadly no longer to newspaper comics), but producing a larger weekly comic would take more time than I have. I’d have to make it bi-weekly or even monthly, and I’m not sure that’s a good idea.
Anyway, I promise no head-biting for the next two weeks at least….
